➤ YOUR PARTNER IN AVIATION

About

Right Rudder Aviation

We believe the foundation of flight is confidence. Every program we run, every airplane we maintain and every checkride we prepare a student for is built around that one idea.

➤ OUR STORY

From One Hangar

to Two

Right Rudder Aviation started as a full service operation in Inverness, Florida, built on a simple premise: put the flight school, the maintenance shop and the FBO under one roof so nothing falls through the cracks between them.

That model worked. Students finished. Owners stopped chasing three different vendors. Renters found airplanes that were actually available. So we did it again in Tennessee.

➤ WHAT WE BELIEVE

Confidence Is

the Whole Job

A confident pilot makes better decisions, especially when conditions change. That’s why we believe good training is about more than passing a checkride.

“We are not trying to get you through a checkride. We are trying to make you the kind of pilot who is still flying safely in twenty years.”

If yours is not here, call. We would rather answer it than have you guess.

No. Most of our students have never touched the controls of an airplane. A discovery flight is the usual first step, and it counts toward your certificate if you decide to keep going.

It depends on how often you fly and which certificate you are after. We give you a written estimate before you enroll, covering hours, rates, materials and checkride fees.

Yes, once you complete a checkout with one of our instructors. The checkout is thorough, but it is not a hazing ritual.
